Yup, that’s right.

British Arseways buggered it up again by forgetting to send on my luggage at my on-ward connection to Tripoli at Heathrow. It’s probably because the plane was late in arriving at Heathrow due to bad weather as it was a bumpy ride.

Only this time, there is no BA rep at Tripoli to be seen anywhere and I’m left with a guy who don’t know English and wanted a description of my luggage judging by his gesturing and body language (being deaf in this case can surprisngly help on the subtleties of communications, even across cultural and language barries).

Red and Black. Small. Rucsack. 10kgs. <– Anyone know the Arabic for this for next time?

BA – please, if my luggage isn’t going to be carried forward for the connection flight, stop me from boarding! I don’t want to go to a country where 45 degrees celcius is the daily norm without any fresh clothes or toiletries!
